How to eat soba and udon noodle

1st Step

Put any condiments that you like into the dipping sauce and create your own dipping sauce.

お好みで薬味を少々汁に入れて好みの味にする。

2nd Step

Pick up some noodles with your chopsticks, dip it only half way into the dipping sauce (Make sure this is one-bite-size), and slurp it all

そばを一口分汁に半分つけて、すする。

3rd Step

Hold your container up closer to your face and slurp your noodles. It is important to make the "slurping sound", because it makes your noodles taste better!

汁器を持ち、蕎麦と少しの汁を一緒にすする。
(すすって食べるのが乙)

4th Step

You can also dip your Tempura into your sauce or eat it separately afterwards. 

揚げ物は汁につけてもよし、そばをすすった後食べてもよし。
